Be Our Guest

The place we stayed at last night actually won Four In A Bed a couple of years ago. It was a stunning guest house, not exactly to my taste but stunning nonetheless.
You couldn’t fault them on any aspect of customer service. The couple were friendly and welcoming, they were happy for us to have the dog in our room. They made up extra beds for the children, there were chocolates and home made cookies in our room, the place was immaculate and the breakfast was first class.
Our room may have looked like the set of a 1970’s porn film (so I’m told) but their attention to detail was incredible. Our ‘Twilight Black’ room had to be seen to be believed. The Prior’s ‘Mocca Heaven’ was a little more subdued.

After a lovely breakfast, we set off and arrived home by midday.

Trying to hold onto our holiday feeling, we’ve got an Indian takeaway, bottle of wine and a film.
