River Avonmore, Wicklow

We went for a beautiful walk this morning in the grounds of Avondale, ancestral home of Charles Stewart Parnell, in Wicklow. The River Avonmore runs through the grounds. It was lovely to see the anemones and other woodlands flowers along the banks - they haven’t been much in evidence during this most wintry of springs.
