NT Lyveden...
The weather today has been warm and sunny, at least where we were in Northamptonshire.
We were going to visit some historic churches in Norfolk today but changed our plans and decided to visit Woolsthorpe Manor where Sir Issac Newton had his apple tree. Road closures on the A1 changed our plans again and we ended up at Lyveden, an unfinished Elizabethan Lodge and Moated Garden. A great place to visit and I'm glad we did.

We enjoyed a light lunch in the Cottage Cafe and on the way home had a look around Oundle, the historic market town and home of the famous school.
A really nice day...
