West Sands St Andrews

We needed a shopping trip to St Andrews this morning and combined it with a walk along the West Sands. The tide was well in so it made the beach appear busier with joggers, dogs having fun and walkers like ourselves. I liked the way that the spray from the sea made the people in the distance appear ghost like !

A very welcome rise in temperature has started and a heat wave is promised for next week - in Scotland that probably means temperatures between 15 to 20 C.

Many thanks for the messages of congratulations on reaching 730 blips - very kind considering it has taken me 5 years to achieve it !!! I must confess I have struggled to find a blip on many dark winter days and on busy working days .
