Dream castle!

Isn’t this just the sort of castle that we all drew when we were children?

In fact, it’s Lowther castle near Penrith...

The history of the castle, and the Lowthers is fascinating...well worth googling!

Great cafe there too (see extra for it’s notice re dogs ).

We enjoyed our hot chocolate and toasted teacakes!

For the record:- Dull early on this morning, but when the sun got out it turned to Summer! Yippppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
