Travel Journal

CCN and I had a wonderful day today when we attended a workshop at the Gang Gang Gallery in Lithgow. It was given by a renowned Blue Mountains artist Natasha Daniloff. The aim of the one day course was to show us how to create a Travel Journal through sketching. It was absolutely fascinating and we both left feeling quite inspired. I spend a lot of my time when I’m travelling with my camera in hand, but there was something quite appealing about the prospect of just sitting quietly with a sketch book and capturing a scene in a very different way from time to time. The image was my take on a couple of beautifully crafted stools that were in the gallery today. Humble beginnings I’d say :)
