Carmel Mission

Spending a few days with son on the way home, he has taken us down the coast and we are spending a night in Carmel. The Roman Catholic mission here was established in 1771, it was taken over by the Franciscans but is now run as a local, diocesan church. It is a beautifully peaceful place.
