A novel idea

While in Cairo I purchased a couple of locally produced books. I don’t know anything about the authors, but they looked interesting. Locally written books are a nice way of seeing the country in a different light.

Just a normal day at work. Then I attended a local writer’s group meeting. I’ve not been before and there were only three of us, including my Arabic teacher. She doesn’t write in English but is hoping to get some stuff translated. The other person who coordinated the meeting is writing lots of everything and wants feedback. As for me, I’m not writing much... might be nice to do something about that...
