The Mono LPs

I did have thoughts of not bothering. After all, a 5 hour drive through Wales isn't really the thing to get one into gig mode. But I was sorted early enough and I'd got a decent start, so even the slow moving wagon in front didn't make too much of a dent in my day.

Seems like an age since I saw a gig anyway, so day #1 of Across the Threshold drew me in like a moth. Well worth it and there were decent performances from quite a few new ones, as well as previous faves. I'm pretty sure I've seen the Mono LPs before but tonight was a step up. Raw bar room blues and that rocking cello with bits of the bow flying everywhere. Was good to be back.
