Rain

Quite a day. A rainy one with the clouds covering the mountains. It's going to mean green lasts longer.

K fellowship was bursting with men.

We attempted to get into the Syrian camp to visit friends by the back unguarded gate (an interesting moral dilemma for the children, some of whom strongly disagreed with the attempt. New territory in parenting I feel). This involved driving across slippery, muddy tracks (which was fun!) but we couldn't get in. We tried the front gate and ended up spending ages with the security services and eventually after a ton of red tape got in for a stupidly short visit.

Then dinner with a new family. I've gained myself 2 mothers in the past 2 days. As soon as old ladies hear I don't have a mum they often offer to be mine and be the children's grandmother!
