Sizergh Castle and Gardens Kendal

 On the way home to Tyneside  today we stopped at Sizergh Castle a splendid Tudor home which has belonged to the Strickland Family for 700 years. 
In the attractive rockery garden were  these stunning  American Skunk Cabbage see extra. The spring flowers were on the cusp of bursting into colour. If we get the warm weather promised next week the garden will soon be bursting with colour
