Gardening Friday took place this week without R. due to the school holidays, but I kept the flag flying by shopping for outdoor plants and looking at sheds in a B&Q sale.

R.I.P.  Miloš Forman (Jan Tomáš Forman)(18 February 1932, Čáslav – 13 April 2018, Danbury CT), the Czech-American film director and screenwriter,  who until 1968 lived and worked primarily in the former Czechoslovakia. One of his best known films was his adaptation of Ken Kesey's book and play One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
