Tuesday: Transit of Suez Canal & Sinai Sunrise

We woke up around 5:30 to see sand through the cabin window, we've begun the transit ...
Quickly got dressed, warmly, and out on deck ... First breakfast just after 6am then I sat on the stern enjoying the excitement of entering Bitter Lakes ... Unmissable ... Also saw the sun rising over the Sinai Desert, extra photo.
Did some more needle craft and learnt how to do Shisha to capture mirror sequins with embroidery.
Watched a Paul Simon tribute duo who were very good and sang all our favourite Simon & Garfunkle songs :-))
