Life, love and the universe

A bit of a sunny George Street day out which involved a lot of chat, scones and burgers and puddings. Oh dear.

We also hit the shops for some retail therapy; two of us tried on half of one shop while a third commented and offered fashion advice. Perhaps the low point was when I came out of my changing room and she said assertively, 'No, no, no, no, no - don't buy that black top; it does nothing for you.'

I had finished trying things on; that was the top I'd worn for the day out.
