Autumn Snow

It was time to test out the heating system in earnest yesterday and today.
We had a very pleasant evening with E&A by the border last night having found the house with difficulty.

I walked round outside this morning looking for my blip and other than a crow and a well camouflaged marmalade cat hunting for mice I couldn't see much evidence of life, although the birds were tweeting deep in the bushes. So here you have some autumn leaves on snow. I thought it looked a bit like wallpaper.

A.D. visited having returned from his travels with a tankard and a box of chocolates for us. Later A,I and O came for a meal which was nice. O didn't eat very much, he was more interested in playing the piano. The dogs behaved pretty well although they barked rather a lot initially.

We will have to buy a new kitchen tap tomorrow since the existing one has lost its ability to turn off.
