Field trip
Abstract Thursday: Repetition of raincoats
I was privileged to join grandson Ethan’s 4th grade class on a field trip to the nearby marina and bay on Multnomah Channel.
It was right up my alley. We did a treasure hunt in the nature along the bay, looking and listening for the various wonders on land, in the water and in the air. After lunch in the picnic shelter we got to canoe on the bay. Each canoe held about 15 kids and 5 adults.
We saw a bald eagle and many other birds, and a beaver lodge. It was quite cold and rainy, but a time well spent.
