Black Butte, Shasta City, California

On our way to Paso Robles, California for the Eroica Bicycle Event this weekend.
My friend and I traveled about halfway there today.
Mount Shasta had its head in the clouds, but nearby Black Butte shone brightly in the afternoon sun.
