Cedar Waxwing

A first for me as a blip and a first for me to see (other than a picture).  :)

It was a rainy morning so the lighting was pretty nonexistent.  But I tried out a new trail and found tons of birds.  Not many were in a decent position for an image but when I spotted 5(!) cedar waxwings in a tree, I had to give it a try.  Oddly, they weren't too concerned about me until I got a little too close.  It was a pleasure to see them and to have it be a day I had my camera in hand made me feel pretty lucky, despite the low light.  I'll definitely be visiting that trail again on a sunny day!
