The Ben

The weather was windy and cold with the odd snow flurry so we went to Glen Roy to go up the Marilyn of Beinn a’ Mhonicag. It’s a good wee hill with great views of the parallel roads formed in the last ice age. We then went to the Commando Memorial near Spean Bridge where the blip was taken of Ben Nevis with Carn Mor Dearg in front. As you can see they were well plastered in snow and there was a lot of spindrift flying off the ridges.
