An eventful day

Today started off with singing Happy Birthday to my son as he was 18. After present opening and card reading we had a late continental breakfast, followed by this wonderful cake made by Luisa, please check out her website www.luluannacakes.co.uk

This afternoon was rugby time, but before all the action my son enjoyed his first legal pint in the club house.

Well what a game, at half time Newport were wining 17-0 against Pontypridd, one of, if not the strongest Welsh side. The 2nd half didnt go at all well, Ponty made a late comeback with some great running rugby to close the gap to 20-19 and they had the momentum going into the dying minutes. But Newport held on to record a fabulous win over a great Ponty side. What a day my boy is having, even Liverpool didnt lose.

Cant believe a year has passed since @LadyWL and myself were at @PontyCyclops wedding where we were entertained by a dancing duck What a great day that was and I hope Mr & Mrs Ponty have many many more years of happiness together.
