Siesta time!

The day started well with blue skies and sunshine but there was still a significant wind chill factor .... it was very cold.

After walking Togbe I went to collect Poppy and Mia, as I always do on a Thursday,  and took them to the park. 

Walking round the small pond in Queens Park I spotted the female swan nesting on the little island.  It's been many years since the swans raised a family in QP .... exciting times ahead .

No sign of any nesting mallards .... this male was enjoying a snooze in the sun.

By midday the blue was gone and the rest of the afternoon was very dull and chilly :-(
