Greyness

Even the buntings did not brighten up this gloomy day.
I made a trip to Dartford on the bus this morning, as I had an optometrist appointment. Afterwards I visited the shopping centres and outdoor market. None of this was very inspiring and everyone and everything had taken on a grey demeanour.
I was glad to return home on the bus and encounter once again the fog I had left behind earlier in the day.
