Unintentional bonsai

I was searching in my garage/storage facility/dumping ground for an item when a flash of yellow caught my eye.
To my horror I discovered a bag of unplanted bulbs, namely Tête-à-tête (Narcissus cyclamineus) which I had not planted last autumn.

My guess is that in the continuing squirrel wars, I had put them aside while fending off the marauders and never got back to planting them. Several had hatched, one of them being shown here.

I planted three pots of them, totalling 49 bulbs from an original 100.
