Season of mists?

It was misty as I drove to Guildford this morning, so in search of a blip I drove up a lane onto higher ground where it was quite foggy. Usually there are extensive views from this point, but not today. The clumps of beeches looked quite eerie in the mist. See extra for a bigger group of trees, I couldn't decide which one to use.
I was in Guildford for my regular Mah-Jong session, we had some good games. Normous had a good game today too, as the mist didn't spoil his golf and he had a good round.
