No fly past at Bomber Command ceremony

Low cloud was the order of the day. Louth Male Voice Choir was one of four such Lincolnshire choirs rehearsed to perform at the official opening of the Bomber Command museum. The fourth and final rehearsal of the 100 strong mass choir was soon after 9.00 am this morning on site to half-a-dozen early birds. Then we were told that the RAF band would be at the front of the stage so there would be room for just 50 of the singers! We soon warmed up on the drive home; those who stayed to sing would have been frozen sitting on stage for another hour until they performed at 1.00 pm. One off events can be difficult to organise down to the last detail. I'm sure the significant elements worked like clockwork. We shall see in the TV early evening.
