Sunset and full moon
My grand plan yesterday was to catch the sunrise this morning to. The sun was rising an hour earlier because of the beginning of winter time, so I set the alarm to go off at 6. My iPhone reset itself, but the alarm clock didn't and when it woke me it wasn't 6 o'clock, it was 5 o'clock. I decided to make it a sunset photo walk instead. :)
I went to a new place by the road that I've seen so many time from the bus. There was a gorgeous tree with autumn colors and dark tree trunks surrounding it and I just wanted to catch that! So, off I went. It's a small piece of nature with fence around and I've seen sheep wandering inside. I had no idea how to get inside, but there was a small path amongst the trees when I crossed the main road, so I followed that and got to a gate. Inside there were a lot of paths made by cows, so I followed one and was happy the mud was frozen. I came around to the tree and what a disappointment... poor light, not many leafs left and not at all how I imagined it to be! I took a couple of bad shots and walked around a bit in search of something else. I saw 4-5 cows with horns running the opposite way and since I didn't know if there were bulls among them I thought that when in doubt, walk the other way, in this case.
When I got out again, after trying not to step in that what cows leave behind, and muddy puddles and small swamp like areas, walked across the main road and turned around I saw the full moon, just hanging there on a beautiful sunset colored sky. That made my day! :)
