Last Day

Rainy and windy. They took a walk but mostly it was inside activity. Nik was a huge help with my puzzle ( this was early on) . Two boys always roughhouse ( will it ever stop?) and then there is Maple in the middle. This family is planning a summer trip to London and France so I got out my postcard collection from those two places.... lots of interest in art and places to see... planning is part of the fun. Our power went out at 1:30 , (hence the candles on the table!) but got restored after they left about 6:30. And Oskar decided he wanted to sleep with Maple 1 more night so Maple went home with them,.... fortunately the wind died down then.. ( she’s so tired she couldn’t even keep her eyes open in the boat!..her family will be back tomorrow too and happy to see her... ). and H and I don’t have to hurry in the morning to take her for her walk. All very excellent !! :-)
