Wildflowers

Having been away for almost three weeks, we returned to find Spring really no further advanced than it was when we left - as far as I can gather they’ve had mainly low temperatures and more snow and lots of rain in our absence! However, today the sun was shining and so I went walking at Sharon Woods after breakfast, around the lake and through the gorge. This pretty wildflower was my favourite of the few shots I took. The afternoon was spent on laundry and other routine jobs around the house. Having got this trip completed, it’s now time to put some more concrete planning into our next - out to California in June for a wedding! This evening we spoke with some friends in Colorado, as we are hoping to spend some time with them after the wedding, so we thought we should make sure they’ll be there! Fortunately they will be, so it will be great to see them again! The last time was a couple of years ago, when they visited us in France for a couple of days.
