Calke Abbey
We met our friends Liz and Genny at Calke Abbey, a National Trust property in Derbyshire. It was a miserable day, damp and misty, so we started off in the cafe with a warm drink. By the time we had a chat it was lunchtime so we stayed there and moved seamlessly onto lunch.
After lunch we took a walk around the extensive outbuildings and gardens. The picture is of the inside the old potting shed. Each draw is labeled for different seeds.
The extra is taken in what was one of the stable blocks.
