Eavesdropper

Another appointment in Victoria today, so while I was waiting for G, I wandered around and took some photos.  I liked the angles of the statue's head and the head of the man on his phone and the similarity of the glasses. I thought that the statue could be an eavesdropper.
There was torrential rain and high wind on the ferry trip, then it cleared up and the sun came out.  The wind didn't die down though.  When we got home in the late afternoon, we drove around the corner of the S curve and saw that a huge tree had come down across the power line and there were  wires all over the road.  The tree had been cleared and luckily there was enough room (barely) to drive around the wires.  A guy was at the top of the curve waiving down oncoming drivers to let them know about the danger.  The power didn't come back on until nearly 8 o'clock, and after a long day in town, we were relieved when it did.
