Sorry Roger

The eldest has been fascinated with a set of lights and spent about an hour draping them around various things (having figured out how to plug them in...). I nipped out of the room, as the cat nipped in and settled down, I came back in to find a perplexed cat adorned with lights.  Am amazed that he didn't scarper.  

Lovely morning at the Wednesday playgroup, very nice group of ladies who go.  We were served some not particularly nice cake that someone had baked, I turned to my friend who I was chatting to, who read my mind and very sternly, under her breath said 'just eat it'... so I did, as did she - and we laughed.  

Got the boys out into the garden, it was raining, they weren't complaining and we spent about an hour cutting down ivy, asking to cut down ivy or sitting in a toy car, depending which one of us you were.
