Back to Bala

So good they went there twice. Well plans to cycle around a reservoir and visit a slate quarry on an army jeep had to be abandoned due to heavy fog and visibility of about 5metres. So we stayed closer to the holiday home and headed for a wander by Lake Bala. Albi certainly didn’t mind the return visit to many of her favourite things - mud, water, rabbit holes.

Afternoon birthday tea of cake and fizz for my mom (75 on Friday) and hilarious games of Oh Heck and Telestrations. Splendid roast Welsh lamb dinner and falling into an evening of lying around on the sofa feeling replete (I have a background of dulcet grandpa snores right now).
