Neigh-bours

Minty and I stopped to chat to these handsome beasts on our afternoon walk. I was glad to see them all still wearing their coats - it's bitterly cold - but not as pleased to note the dried mud caked on some of them.

This morning we had a lovely visit with friend June to Lulabel's. We also met Mabel's 'borrower', Libby, who's maybe going to look after Mabel this summer when D#2 and I visit Canada.

Leo update : he's still being kept in at the vet's where they seem to have diagnosed a throat infection, which explains his reluctance to eat.
