Woods walking

A mud fest today! Much needed after a few rain enforced days in. We went down to visit my aunt and uncle nr Southampton and had a nice morning of Lego building, snakes and adders (R won!), and piano playing.

After lunch we headed out on our usual woods walk. Wowsers it was a total mud/swamp fest, the children adored it - I feared for my brand new wellies (!!) but we loved it. C rolled down a hill ending up totally brown with mud and after gathering a new huge bamboo stick to bring back home we were done.

All changed, cups of tea, some more Easter eggs and we headed home. Lovely.
