Run to Beat 2012

This was the organised chaos before the Run to the Beat Half Marathon this morning at Greenwich. I took my camera in the hope of taking some pictures but after it transpired that the buses were not running as the organisers had advised, ended up doing a three mile walk to the start before I even began running. Thought there might be an opportunity post race but spent an hour in the queue to be reunited with my bag, whilst my legs were about to give way and I was freezing to death. If I say that the 13 mile run was the best bit of the whole thing, you'll understand the trauma and the reason for the lack of a decent blip :-(
