Saviour of the highways

B's daughter owns a classic beetle, so old classic that it doesn't require taxing. Apparently though you do need to display a tax disc so that grumpy neighbours don't call the Local Authority and report it dumped.

Less than 24 hours away from the crusher and hero neighbours (Mark and Medic) come to the rescue. A few frantic phone calls and a trip to the cashpoint later and she is safe in a garage for a service and a bit of TLC - phew.
