Afternoon Tea

Today I met up with some friends from work we went for an afternoon tea at 'The Winding House Tearoom' in Bridgenorth, Shropshire. It is called the Winding Room because it contains the winding mechanism for the cliff railway you can see the mechanism moving as it pulls the carriage up the cliff. The afternoon tea was delicious and we were all well and truly stuffed, we spent a lovely couple of hours together (putting the world to rights) and we are planning another visit in the Whitsun holiday hopefully the weather will have improved by then and we can sit outside and admire the view as it is a lovely view of the River Severn and also we could have a lovely walk around the Castle grounds and town to walk off our over indulgence.( I couldn't decide which picture to use so ended up making a collage.)
