Blackbird EB

Cloudy, misty, murky day, with heavy rain at times.
Fortunately I didn’t have to go out. Caught up with some housework instead.
So this is an EB blip, taken through the window. I think the blackbirds are nesting in the holly tree in next door’s garden.

Last night’s wine tasting was very interesting.
The title was “ Breaking the Rules”.
Started off with a white Rioja. Usually they are red.
Then a French style white from the Lebanon.

Finished with a sweet red from USA.
Cline Cellers Late Harvest Mouvedre.from Sonoma.
This tasted like a sweet red Bandol we had tasted in France years ago. Turned out it was made from the same grape,
I loved it but probably an acquired taste.

Caught up with Masterchef this morning.
Nice to see Robert looking so smart. Usually see him in his working clothes!
Very interesting to see the contestants tackling Tommy Banks complicated dishes.
Two of our friends were dining at his restaurant last night. Looking forward to hearing what they thought of it.
