The Old And The New

Another miserable grey day today - with rain until early afternoon. It matches my mood the moment - I am mentally and physically drained. I couldn’t face going shopping today so tea will be ‘freezer surprise’. One or two of the many little boxes of leftovers that have been frozen and never labelled will be thawed.

Managed to get an (awful) blip shot of the new blackthorn blossom just emerging alongside an old sloe from left over from last autumn. It looked OK on the back of the camera when I took it, but it doesn’t stand up to scrutiny in Lightroom.
