Roll Playing

This seagull appeared to be pretending he was an osprey.  He was exhibiting very strange behavior for a seagull, circling and diving at the water as though he was trying to catch a fish.  He kept at it for about three minutes but I never could see what he was going for.  He finally left and could very well have succeeded by catching a really stupid fish lolling on the surface or maybe picking up a floating ham sandwich.  Who knows.
