Bison babies on the way....

Most bison are born in May.....good little Tauruses and Gemini. And they are red. Indians called them Red Dogs. This is a local herd and we did spot a couple of babies on the ground. I'll return with my Lumix when more babies arrive. The mothers are very wary when they have a calf by their side; so it'll be super zoom time. They are still wild beasts at heart and no fence can hold them if they really want to move.
