Cataract Gorge

Travelled east for stopping for coffee at a raspberry farm where we bought the most delicious chocolate coated raspberries. Quite the most divine chocolates I have ever eaten .  Then lunch at Cataract Gorge where Mr P set off to do a 6km ardous tour of the gorge because it was on the list of Tasmanias 60 best walks. The description of 199 steps put me off. I wandered round more sedately, resisted the temptation to use the chairlift to get across the gorge  and took lots of pictures. The young people; M & C and a German lad they have picked up along the way,  swam in the far basin. They said it was cold.  Got teased for pronouncing Launceston ( the town we are in) the English way. The Tassies pronounce it as it is spellt, which is a bit of a mouthfull.
