A fine day at the island

Lots of good stuff today. We managed ( 6 of us... I’m grateful because it’s usually 2 of us,) launched the tin boat from its winter home in the boathouse at the end of the bay. Then off go the boys on their first “cruise”. A bit of time in the studio... these guys always have an idea they want to make... a new headband for Niklas, a ninja dagger holder (?) for Oskar. And then it got so beautiful on the beach, the boys and I made an “Andy Goldsworthy”- esque structure. On a rock. The tide is still going out and will not be up to a big high til 3 am so we will see how it is in the morning. I was hoping to get a picture with the water only just covering the rock. But ??? Maple had an excellent day outdoors.
