I never forget a war

This is the Brigade of Guards on the Crimean War Memorial in London, Lower Regent Street. I like the way the fabric gets tucked in under the chest belts -- a nice bit of casting. And you get Florence Nightingale thrown in for free. Alas, the other heroine of the Crimea, the Jamaican nurse, Mary Seacole, is not represented.
