Dressed to Impress

Asked the Blackpool Landau owner if I could take a photo of her horse but as I tried to move to a more side-on view, the horse just kept turning to look at me straight on and then got a bit too friendly! This Landau is a more traditional style but not as beautiful as the vintage examples that used to dominate Blackpool prom when I was a lad.

The preferred type now is a horrible tacky spindly effort at representing a 'Cinderella carriage' that look terrible but probably a lot more popular with kids and perhaps the only way of making it pay.
