Ethereal Canal Walk!

Awoke to fog more like October than April! It was quite spooky on the outward trip! Later as the sun came out the spring was in the air, a Longtailed Tit with a beak full of nesting material........... and a Woodpecker drumming as we finished the walk.
Mid afternoon saw me at a training session for the local schools Equine Squad who have qualified one of the junior team events at Hickstead, and need funding to fulfill their dreams, to take pictures for the media campaign! 
I can now also reveal that Jimmy has been successfully re homed! Anyone want a trailer ;o)
Thank you all for the lovely comments and awards on yesterdays Egret it has become apparent that I now having updated the camera inline with the new lenses purchased I am not getting a complete download of RAW &  JPG  anymore ! Very  annoying...........I actually have a better Read Bunting shot hey ho ;o)
