Looking for lunch!

Coffee and a catch up with our neighbour in Elie this morning then it was off for a planned visit to the Botanic Gardens in St Andrews.

The weather brightened up and we enjoyed a reasonably sunny afternoon although the temperature had dropped by quite a few degrees from yesterday's high.

Part of the path round the pond was cordoned off ..... think it had been flooded and was still very muddy.  Watched the heron wading silently through the reeds looking for a little something to eat. Amazing birds ... they stand statue still for ages and then in the blink of an eye they have caught a fish or a frog.
