Monday's Hero

Last night was not pleasant - fever, permanent thirst and pain that just wouldn't die down.  I was awake for most of the night and felt very sorry for myself.

So I was delighted when G managed to get me an appointment at the doctor at 10.  He agreed I'm ill and I've been signed off for the week.  If I'm still ill on Friday then I should make another appointment.  Hopefully that won't be necessary.

One of my prescriptions was this bottle of pain killer.  25 drops in a glass and mix with water.  It was much more effective than paracetamol.  In fact it relaxed me to the point where I had a lovely 2 hour sleep.  I'll be doing that again.
