Dangerous work

Repairs to the railway bridge over the Forth are on the go at the moment. Not only do the guys have to have a rescue boat at the ready they also have to contend with trains thundering past. Not a job I’d fancy but it’s important that someone does it. I’ll be putting the trains to the test tomorrow and I’ll look out as we leave Stirling to see if the work is still taking place.

From the photograph you’d think we were still in the middle of winter but it is a lot milder at last.
