Flat calm

We woke to thick mist which lifted and fell throughout the morning.  The whole day was still and calm, so quiet without the wind and waves, lovely and peaceful.  

Helping at the big sale in the village hall in the morning.  Lots of folk there, and an amazing amount of money taken considering most things were either £1 or £2 and books were five for £2, children's five for £1!  The cafe was really busy too, serving soup and puddings, with the queue out the door!  Blipper Bodkin was doing a sterling job!  

Unlike her, I went home and had forty winks, she went dancing afterwards!
